About
More Than Acceptances
Hi, I’m Rachel. Since 2017, I’ve mentored students in gaining acceptances to colleges like Harvard, Johns Hopkins, and UC Berkeley. I've also interviewed applicants for the UCLA Anderson and Wellesley College admissions offices.
When I applied to colleges, I remember thinking: “I’ve worked SO hard for my grades. I deserve to get into a good school." But I also thought: “I haven’t cured cancer or gone to the Olympics. Am I good enough to get into the colleges I want?" It all worked out in the end, but I made some mistakes in my application process. Now, I advise students so they can avoid the mistakes I made when I was applying to college.
In our sessions, I blend real talk, strategy, and pragmatism, drawing on my years of experience making entry-level hiring decisions at two internet startups and a Fortune 500 company. My goal is not just to help students get in, but to ensure they have the skills, mindset, and confidence to thrive once they’re on campus, and land jobs in their chosen fields after graduation.
I also dedicate significant time to advising first-generation, low-income students pro bono, helping them navigate the college admissions process and succeed once on campus.

I help you reflect, dig deep, and identify what makes you compelling.
Always Honest
I’ll be your cheerleader, but I won’t sugarcoat. You deserve guidance that’s both encouraging and real.

Not Just "In," But Thriving
Getting accepted is just the beginning. I care just as much about helping you land at a place where you’ll take risks, grow, and belong.
